ALONZO G. MORRIS is a Child Of God, Author, Songwriter, and Musician.  Alonzo believes that by faith we all can collaborate with God and bring about radical change and transformation in our lives and the lives of others.  

On September 29th, 2017, Alonzo survived Brain Surgery after suffering from an Arterial Embolism. Alonzo was partially paralyzed on the right of his body from the neck down. He suffered from double vision and damaged to his internal organs. During this time of recovery, Alonzo fasted and prayed that God would give him complete healing. Seven weeks later at 3:30am Alonzo awakened and discovered that a Remarkable Occurrence had happened. He was completely healed. Alonzo contributes his complete healing to his faith in Jehovah God who has all power to do all things.

Alonzo believes his life was spared so that he could complete the work that God has called him to do. Part of the work is to write songs that will encourage the hearts of those that are suffering and need encouragement.  Alonzo is making his mark in the National Music Industry.  In 2019 his song titled RESCUED, produced by Grammy Award Winner, Dove Award, Stellar Award-Winning Music Producer, Derek D.O.A. Allen, sung by American Music Award Winner, Lenny Williams, and Stellar Award Winner, Teddy Cross of the Gospel Keynotes, reached number 8 NATIONWIDE on the Contemporary Christian Music Chart. In 2020 Alonzo's song titled I FEEL LOVED featuring Sunday's Best runner up Jessica Reedy reached number #7 NATIONWIDE on the National Media Based Chart. Alonzo also received a #7 Billboard Award for the song titled I FEEL LOVED. Alonzo is also the writer of songs such as MAKING A WAY, sung by the late Grammy Award Nominated Gospel Artist, Darryl Coley. Alonzo has also written songs such as “NEED”, sung by Stellar Award Winner, #1 Billboard Award Winner Paul Porter who was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame.  Alonzo has a discography of songs such as HANDS UP, VICTORY, I BELIEVE IN LOVE, WALK AROUND HEAVEN, GET UP, SMILE, FOR THE TIME, I NEED TO BE LOVED, I WORSHIP YOU,  and GIVE HIM THE PRAISE.
